Palazzo pants are the most comfortable type of pants for women. These trousers are slightly high waisted and flare out from the knees to elongate legs in a flattering way. They are usually made of breathable material.

Palazzos are the perfect summer go-to for pants because that are comfortable, cool, and stylish. They are a great alternative to shorts and cut-off denim, which can get boring after a while. You can even incorporate these pants into your early spring ensembles or your office looks.

Palazzo style pants are often thought to be just for the typical hippie inspired or boho chic outfits, but that is not the case. Palazzos do make a great casual outfit, but they can be dressed up and sophisticated as well.

Finding the perfect way to style your palazzos is made much easier when you have many different styles to get inspiration from. These looks taken straight from Instagram are sure to help inspire you on how to wear your favorite palazzo pants.

So here’s a though that visited me in the shower this morning, because, duh, that’s were all the meaningful life revelations usually happen, right? I’ve met so many women that are self conscious, insecure, ashamed of their appearance. Yet I’ve met pretty much none to 0.1% of men who are that way. And while I get that a lot of it is coming from the fact that magazines and media are advertising this “perfect body” culture that doesn’t exist. Some of it, and I strongly believe this, is coming from the clothes we wear and the style choices we make. Most of men’s fashion is meant to be comfortable and is tailored to the average men’s body. Most of women’s fashion is meant for you to have a body that is tailored to clothes. With all the trends and changes in women’s fashion happening so rapidly, we are trying to fit ourselves in the clothes just because it’s a new thing and it’s supposed to be good. Instead, what we are often getting as an end product, is a sad version of how we would want ourselves to look like, thus bringing the thoughts of our bodies not being “good enough” to wear certain things instead of realizing, that it’s very rare that something will ever fit the right way. Especially, after we moved away from made to measure clothes and entered the era of fashion made for the “average” person – the imaginary customer that doesn’t exist in reality. It brings me joy, to see people’s transformations and the smile on their face when the right piece of clothing fits them just right. It’s a whole new ball game. It’s interesting to me what a small amount of people actually know their body shape, which, in theory, is a cornerstone of your style and the main helper in finding the right things that work for you. We are all different, we have different personalities, different bodies, different skin, different lifestyle. And that’s the beauty of it! So why is it that we are trying to get ourselves to wear THE SAME outfit. Your confidence doesn’t only come from within, it comes from the RIGHT clothes that you are meant to be wearing. Clothes that comforts your body and soul.❤️ . . . . . #rooftopbar #wilmingtonnc #whitepants #palazzopants #mangogirls

Olga dresses up her palazzo style pants with heels as she enjoys her glass of wine on a rooftop. Her caption for this photo is about how important it is to feel comfortable while also looking good. Her outfit is classy, and could easily convert into a business look with a tailored blazer. This just proves that these pants aren’t just boho chic and that they can become versatile based on other elements of your outfit.

Printed Palazzo Pants

TheVintageCorner wears her mega flared out palazzos with a long sleeve crop top and high heels. These long and flowy pants are even more eye-catching due to their unique zebra print. A great addition to this outfit would be gold jewelry especially a pair of tassel earrings. This also would make a great outfit for a fun dinner out or summer vacation.

Pleated Palazzo Pants

Emerson of classycleanchic models this pair of palazzo pants with a tucked in long sleeve blouse and a gorgeous silvery sandal. The olive pants and off-white blouse make a wonderful color combination. These pants are perfect for more petite women because of the textured material and shorter cut. This fun summer outfit looks great with Emerson’s long wavy hairstyle.

Palazzo and Kimono

Outfitbyema serves us with a perfect outfit combination. Ema styles her red flowy pants with a matching long kimono. The kimono adds a bit of sophistication and style to this overall look. She wears gold earrings to tie the entire outfit together. Too often palazzo pants are dressed down with a basic white tee or a simple tank.

White Cami with Palazzo Pants

Jaime repost this photo of her while out for drinks wearing grey palazzo pants and a silky white cami. She matches her unique style of the palazzo pant with silver jewelry. This is a perfect example of how to wear these pants elegantly. This particular style of palazzo pants is versatile and could even be dressed down with crop top.

Still waiting for spring to show it’s face ☀️🌷I swear the spring season gets shorter and shorter every year in New England! • • • This was my first attempt at wearing wide leg pants and turns out I love them! They’re really comfy and look good dressed up with heels or down with sandals. Definitely a good piece to add to your spring/summer wardrobe! They come in solids and stripes and are less than 25. I’m wearing my normal size small. • • • Shop my daily looks at www.redwhitedenim.com/shop (link in bio) or by following me on the LIKEtoKNOW.it app! @redwhiteanddenim @liketoknow.it | http://liketk.it/2BznE #liketkit #LTKunder50 #ltkunder25 #LTKspring #LTKstyletip

Denim Palazzo Pants

My idea of super comfy yet trendy summer look: A simple plain camisole top tucked in wide leg denim pants. For bonus points, wear a pair of statement earrings. 💛 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I believe it’s not always necessary to go for shorts when it comes to summers. Experiment with pants that are not skin fit, go for bottoms that are super comfortable and trendy and makes you look chic in no time. Experiment, rather than going for the mainstream. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sure, shorts make every outfit look super good (and I love wearing it too 🙈), but experimenting will make you look updated with trends, always. 🌻 . . . . . #summerlookbook #topbun #summerloving #vintagelook #retroaesthetic #retrostyle #styleinspiration #styleinspo #fashioninspotrendalert #denim #denimpalazzo #palazzopants #widelegpants #camisole #camitop #summerlook #summertrends #summervibes #styleup #stylebook #styled #fashionblogger #styleinfluencer #fashioninfluencer #influencerswanted #bloggerswanted #indianfashion #indianblogger #streetstyle #sssfashionista

She challenges us all to experiment with our summer looks like she did with this vintage look.

Formal Palazzo Pants

Look 4: The last look with the Palazzo is a formal one, I mean office is everyday thing and can’t afford to dress boring😉 I think soon I am going to come up with more classy and stylish no boring office looks. Okay I am getting distracted, coming back to this look, added a white shirt and a blazer with the Palazzo to get that lady boss look. Isn’t it looking smart? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #fashionblogger #instafashion #formallook #palazzopants #palazzo #styleinfluencer #style #lookbook #ootd #officelook #stylelikenotomorrow #blue #stylish #classyoutfit #hyderabadfashionblogger #fashionaddict #fashiontrends #instastyle #fashionnova #fashionkilla #fashionlovers #fashionblog

Bhanita styles her navy palazzo pants with a striped blazer over a white button up with tan short heels for a formal look for around the office or at a meeting. You don’t have to be uncomfortable to talk business and you definitely don’t have to be uncomfortable to look great.

Cozy and Cool Palazzo Pants

Shein_in shows off their Paperbag Waist Palazzo Pant in brownish red by featuring aranyaachowdhury who is wearing them out to lunch. She wears her cut off palazzos with a white tucked in t-shirt and a tan crossbody bag. Even when wearing a more laid-back style of palazzos you can still wear a pair of statement earrings and sunglasses that will add a girly touch to your outfit.

Chic Polka Dot Palazzo Pants

Polka dotted palazzos are usually seen as super casual, but when dressed up with a nude colored tank, statement jewelry pieces, and an updo like Anna, this casual outfit takes on a more grown-up feel. She also matches these wonderful pants with a tan sandal. This is a great summertime look for anyone who loves chic fun outfits.

Palazzos in Early Spring

Palazzo Pants for Style

Nils Store models a striped pair of the palazzos with matching dark heels. This look is sophisticated despite the tube top. This pair of palazzo pant has a built-in belt that accentuates the waist and adds definition to the outfit. This look would look especially great with a crossbody bag that matching her heels or top.

More Looks & History Of The Style

During the 60s and 70s, palazzo pants came into fashion, and Coco Chanel was the first to be spotted with the design at the beach.

Palazzo pants are known for their style, comfort and versatility. They fit every individual and are helpful during the hot summer weather where individuals prefer outfits that are comfortable in the heat.

The loose cut in the palazzo pants makes it comfortable since one can swirl the legs around easily and flare their figure. The style of the palazzo pants is conservative because of its flare when compared to other tight fitting designs.

Different Styles

The versions of the palazzo pants are varied, ranging from those with the standard waistline to the high-waisted and low rise versions. The various versions give the pants a unique flare.

Close fitting palazzo pants have zips at the front or the side, on the other hand, the loose-fitting designs have elastic waistlines and have drawstrings at the waist.

The hems of palazzo pants move freely to give the design the required flare.

Who Can Wear Palazzo Pants?

The choice of palazzo pants should be made with consideration of the height and figure of the individual. Short and curvier individuals should look for palazzo pants which are tight to avoid being overwhelmed with the outfit.

The choice of the tops to match the palazzo pants is also essential; the tops for short and curvy individuals should be well-fitting to avoid giving a larger impression.

Tall women, on the other hand, can wear loose palazzo while keeping their overall impression in mind; this includes aspects of color and the silhouette appearance.

Colors And Patterns

They come in a variety of colors and patterns to suit different moods. Those who prefer plain colors can choose from subtle pastels, shades of the rainbow and the standard black and white look. The patterns available include those who imitate the vibe of the 70s and the monochrome jacquards.

Styling Outfits To Match

Depending on the occasion and the desired look palazzo pants can be styled in various ways such as:

Cute outfits: The individuals who are interested in a cute outlook can style their palazzo by wearing loose pants with polka-dotted cross-over tops. The match is perfect for evening hours of the summer. Another alternative for cool elegance is matching a pastel pair with a pin-striped top.

Casual outfits: The palazzo pants are suitable for casual wear and the choice to enhance this look may include choosing palazzo with vibrant color and matching it with a top of plain contrasting color. Individuals who prefer to portray the flaring nature of the pants can match with a crop top, classic tee or spaghetti top. Those who prefer a softer touch can go for floral palazzo pants accompanied with frilled gypsy top.

Vintage outfits: Vintage culture is the roots of the palazzo pants; the retro look of the palazzo pants gives the perfect vintage look. Classic vintage-print palazzo contains striking monochrome prints such as diagonals and colored choices such as ethnic mandala patterns or bold florals. The pants can match with plain colored tops.

Sophisticated outfits: A sophisticated look is portrayed by wearing palazzo pants with high heels. When plain black palazzo pants are worn with a flowing tunic-style top and an ornate waist belt it will catch every eye.

This style has a history- but seems to be trending again.
